This policy applies to 1980s Photo Studio at 1980sphoto.com.
1980s Photo Studio may process account details, authentication records, credit balances, payment records, generation settings, uploaded reference photos, generated images, and basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service. Do not upload a photo unless you have permission to use it.
When image generation is enabled, the service sends the reference photo and the generation instructions through OpenRouter to an OpenAI image model. These providers process that data to return an image. Their handling and retention may depend on the provider account settings and current provider terms.
The homepage portrait workflow stores reference copies in a separate private bucket for up to 24 hours and completed images for 7 days. A signed-in owner can recover, download or delete a completed task. Short-lived access links expire within five minutes. Deletion removes the task from your account immediately and attempts to delete its objects; if storage is unavailable, the worker retries. Previously issued links may remain usable until they expire. Downloads already saved on your device are not removed.
Selecting a photo in the homepage does not upload it. Upload begins only after you sign in and choose to generate. Non-sensitive style settings may be saved in this browser tab to survive sign-in or checkout; the photo file and additional written description are not saved in browser storage. Task and payment records needed for billing and duplicate-request protection are kept separately. Provider-side retention is governed by the providers' own policies, rather than our bucket expiry.
Payment providers process checkout and payment details. The application stores the identifiers and transaction records needed to grant credits, handle refunds, and prevent fraud, but does not need to store full payment card numbers. Hosting, email, analytics, authentication, storage, OpenRouter, OpenAI, and payment vendors may process the minimum data needed for their role when configured.
You can review and delete available photo tasks from My Photos. Requests about account data, access, correction, or deletion must use the support channel published by the production operator. No support email is listed until a real, monitored address is configured.
This policy must be reviewed and updated with the operator identity, contact method, retention periods, configured vendors, and applicable legal requirements before public launch.
